DENVER – April 26, 2006 – IP5280 Communications, Colorado’s VoIP Company, announced today the acquisition of all voice network switching equipment and engineering resources of Smart Communications, a four-year-old VoIP communications provider based in Denver. The transaction is the second acquisition of major business assets for IP5280 since the beginning of the year, marking an aggressive assembly of customer and network components to expand VoIP services throughout Colorado. 

IP5280 will debut its services to the public Thursday, May 4 at the Colorado Business Show, booth #717, where it will present the “Colorado VoIP Challenge,” giving business owners the opportunity to challenge both service quality and price compared to traditional phone lines.  IP5280 is offering show attendees free phone calls to anyone in the world to test call quality first hand, and a side-by-side comparison of the costs of using VoIP vs. the old phone company. IP5280 is also scheduling free VoIP business assessments.
