ROCKAWAY, NJ – August 5, 2008 – Party City, with 11 stores in greater Denver, has joined the climb this week in Colorado to support The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Colorado’s program for kids with mental health issues, Climbing for Kids.
Coordinated by Denver-based IP5280 Communications, a next generation global IP communications provider, Party City jumped aboard the program as a Summit Sponsor, joining an impressive list of Denver and national corporations.
The Mt. Bierstadt climb is the third annual fundraiser for The Children’s Hospital Foundation. Dozens of sponsor employees, friends and customers will attempt the 14,060 foot mountain, which is one of Colorado’s highest peaks.
“We are about kids having fun and celebrations of accomplishment,” said Bill Furtkevic, vice president of marketing for Party City. “Any time we can align with causes that match our mission of having fun and celebrating the achievements of people, we want to get involved.” Party City currently has 11 stores in the Denver metropolitan area.
The third annual Climbing for Kids takes place this Thursday, August 7. For more information about the program, phone 303-800-0016 or visit www.IP5280.com.
