Outlook Toolbar

John Scarborough: Today we’re going to go over how to download and install your Outlook toolbar. First, we will want to download the software for the Outlook toolbar. To do this, start by opening up a Web browser and type in info.onvoip.net and click on the link that says, “Corporate Telephony Toolbar”. From here, you will have a link to an animated demo and some manuals for the toolbar but you will want to click on the link that says, “Download the toolbar application”. You will then be directed to a page that says, “Telephony Toolbar Installation Wizard”. This wizard will verify that your browser can use the Outlook toolbar and let you download the actual application.

Using the wizard, walk through the couple of steps and at the end, click the Download button to download the application. You will want to hit the Run button when it asks you to save or run. This will start the installation immediately and will walk you through the final steps to install the Outlook toolbar.

Now that the Outlook toolbar is installed, it’s time to set up your account. To do this, you will want to start by opening up an Explorer Web browser or a Microsoft Outlook. Once opened, you will notice a new toolbar added at the top and you will want to click on the Options button to configure the toolbar. Click on Accounts. Here, you are asked for your username and password. The username will be your 10-digit telephone number and your password will be the same password you use to log in to your Web portal which is initially set up to be 123456. After you have entered this information, you have the option to save the username and password.

The next and final step is to click on the Connections section. In here, you will want to type in the following host address, ipphone1.onvoip.net and the port should display 2208. Once you are done with this, click Apply and then OK to exit the menu. The toolbar will then automatically try to connect and the little icon next to the Options menu, which is normally grayed, out will turn green when connected successfully. If it does not turn green automatically, click on that button next to the Options menu to initiate a login.
