John Scarborough: One of the most popular features used by business professionals is called simultaneous ring or sim ring also sometimes referred to as “find me, follow me”. Basically, this feature allows you to never miss a phone call. Sim ring allows you to identify multiple phone numbers to ring simultaneously when a call comes in. Say for example, your office phone, your cell phone and your home phone all ringing at the same time when a call comes.

Once you log in to your portal, click on Incoming Calls on the left hand side. Once in here, you will want to click on the Simultaneous Ring Personal feature that is located in the Advanced column on the right. Once you are in the setting for simultaneous ring, it’s fairly simple to set up. You will start by entering a 10-digit number or extension where it says Phone Number/SIP URI. Click Add. You’ll notice the number pop up below on the list of numbers to simultaneously ring.

Once you have entered the number or numbers that you want to simultaneously ring, you will turn on the simultaneous ring function and then have the option to either ring those numbers if you’re on a call or to not ring those numbers if you’re on a call. With this feature turned on, you’ll never miss a phone call again.
