State and federal officials claim that more than 1.5 million acres of lodgepole forests have been devastated by the mountain pine beetle. IP5280 wants to help. By partnering with Plant-It 2020, IP5280 will plant indigenous trees in non-harvest locations throughout Colorado to replenish forests devastated by mountain pine beetles. Plant-It 2020 is a Colorado-based organization founded by John Denver to help replant trees around the world. For each new customer that signs up for Internet Phone service with IP5280, IP5280 will plant 3 trees in their honor in non-harvestable Colorado forests. |
